The online presence for the Houston Health Department had existed only as a department section within the houstontx.gov website. The Department wanted to create its own website, www.houstonhealth.org, using Drupal and Acquia CMS. The initial goal was to migrate existing pages from houstontx.gov/health to the new Drupal platform, enable a searchable PDF document library, and create online intake webforms.
Houston Health Department hired TrazerEdge to assist in the configuration of Acquia Cloud Site Factory (ACSF), site building and content migration for the new Houston Health Department website. Once the site implementation was complete, TrazerEdge moved into a support role, continuing to provide technical services, custom development, maintenance and user support for the Houston Health Department website.
